Welcome on my homepage !

Applied mathematician, my research affiliation is the Partial Differential Equations team of the Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann, and I mainly teach in Ensimag, Grenoble Institute of Technology. My fields of research are mathematical and numerical analysis of PDE. One current direction is devoted to fluid-structure coupling in a biomechanical setting. In this context I developed with my co-workers an Eulerian description of fluid-structure coupling, based on a level-set formulation of the immersed interface method. I also worked on modeling the Leidenfrost effect. More recently I got interested in optimal transport problems applied to image analysis.

My commitment to enhance links between mathematics and industry takes place in MaiMoSiNE, see below.

MaiMoSiNE is an university structure created by Stéphane Labbé in 2010, which provides means for industrial engineers and scientists to communicate their needs, objectives and challenges, to the researchers of local lab teams. This aims to transfer up-to-date modeling and simulation methods to the local industry. This is linked to the Labex AMIES. I joined that structure as co-director in 2011 and director since 2016. Below you will find some current posts on topics pertaining to maths for industry.
