I completed a PhD in applied mathematics, under the supervision of Stéphane Labbé and Jérome Weiss, in the Partial Differential Equations (PDE) research team of the Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann.
In 2012, a collaboration between TOTAL E&P and the Université Grenoble Alpes (with Stéphane Labbé and Jérome Weiss) has been launched on the study of sea ice mechanics. During Matthias Rabatel's PhD thesis, they developed a granular model for sea ice modeling which is particularly well suited for simulations of the Marginal Ice Zone (MIZ). The goal of my PhD was to add fracture mechanics to this model. Therefore, I focused on topics such as linear elasticity, fracture mechanics, variational calculus, Gamma-convergence, and shape optimization. My dissertation should be available on HAL soon, for now you can access it here.
I am currently looking for a post-doctoral position !
