       Antoine Girard is an Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics at the Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France. He received the diplôme d'ingénieur from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble (ENSIMAG) and the Master degree in Applied Mathematics from the Université Joseph Fourier, both in 2001. He received the Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble in September 2004. From October 2004 to December 2005, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering of University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. From January 2006 to August 2006, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Verimag Laboratory, Grenoble, France. He joined the faculty of the Université Joseph Fourier in September 2006 (resume).

       His research interests include algorithmic analysis of hybrid systems, approximation and abstraction of continuous and hybrid systems, hierarchical and multiscale approaches to control...
