GDR GeoSto Grenoble 2013

This workshop is the second event organized by the GDR (Groupe de Recherche) GeoSto, initiated in January 2012. It brings together more than 80 researchers from France and Europe. This is a great opportunity to invite many recognized specialists from Stochastic Geometry and related research areas. The workshop will take place at the University of Grenoble, on campus, from Wednedsday, April 3 at 10:30am, to Friday, April 5 at 1pm. The registration is free but mandatory. The maximal number of participants is reached. Registrations are closed.

Ce congrès est le second événement organisé par le GDR (Groupe de Recherche) GeoSto, initié en Janvier 2012. Il rassemble plus de 80 chercheurs de France et d’Europe. Ce congrès est une très bonne occasion pour inviter des spécialistes reconnus en Géométrie Aléatoire et les domaines de recherche associés. Il aura lieu sur le campus de l’université de Grenoble du mercredi 3 Avril à 10h30 jusqu’au vendredi 5 Avril à 13h approximativement. Le nombre maximal de participants est atteint. Les inscriptions sont closes.

Il n’y a pas d’appel à communication/présentation. Nous reprenons l’idée des premières journées du GDR. Il y aura 20 communications données par des orateurs invités. Un peu plus de la moitié des orateurs proviennent de l’étranger (Allemagne, Danemark, Norvège, République Tchèque, Royaume-Uni).

There is no call for presentations. This workshop is in the same spirit as the first one which took place in Rouen. There will be 20 oral communications given by invited speakers. About half of the speakers come from abroad.

The workshop will take place at the Maison Jean Kuntzmann on the Campus of Saint-Martin d’Hères.

A partir du centre ville de Grenoble, le plus simple pour rejoindre l’université et la Maison Jean Kuntzmann est de prendre le Tram B (direction Gières Plaines des Sports) ou le “Tram C” (direction Condillac or Gières Plaine des Sports) et de descendre à l’arrêt Bibliothèques Universitaires (BU Sciences). La Maison Jean Kuntzmann se trouve à 200m au nord de cet arrêt.

From the Grenoble city center, the easiest to reach the university and the Maison Jean Kuntzmann is to take the “Tram B” (direction Gières Plaines des Sports) or “Tram C” (direction Condillac or Gières Plaine des Sports) and to get off the tram at the stop “Bibliothèques Universitaires” (BU Sciences). From there, the “Maison Jean Kuntzmann” is 200m to the north (follow the link in the Campus of Saint-Martin d’Hères for more details).
